Angela is the founder of This Gathered Nest. What started as a family blog and Youtube channel had amassed over half a million followers and a movement to share about vulnerable children, adoption and the importance of family. Through weekly videos Angela and her family bring their community alongside them as they navigate the ups and downs of life, while keeping their eyes fixed on Jesus and the doors he’s opened for them. 

Angela and her family have been featured in People Magazine, The Today Show, Buzzfeed and more. In 2017 Angela was named one of Buzzfeed’s 14 amazing moms who happen to be YouTube stars. 

Angela’s next big adventure is her memoir that is being published by HarperOne in April 2020. Writing a memoir about her families story has been a long time dream for Angela, and one she hopes will point even more people to Jesus, and what He can do with a life when we give Him our “Yes!” 

Angela and her husband Christopher were high school sweethearts and have been married for 14 years. They have 7 children, raining in age from 12 years old down to 2 year old twins. Their life is full but they wouldn’t have it any other way. Their family motto is that “Hard doesn’t mean bad.”
